I am now offering corporate/business headshots services for my photography business. So, if you need headshots and group photos for your business, or you know someone who does, please contact me. All of the details are on my photography website, under the Portrait Portfolio page, https://ashadmukadamphotography.wordpress.com. My contact info is also on that website, under the Contact Me page.
I have now created a business profile on Instagram. This is to allow any potential customers to contact me directly within Instagram, instead of taking the long way by clicking on tapping on the link to my photography website, and then navigating to the “Contact Me” page. The only pictures that will be posted here will be those related to my portfolio, and pictures I take for clients. Here is the link to the page so that you can follow me:
As you can see, this is a different profile name. That means that I haven’t deleted my personal profile. My personal profile will be used to share all the different photos that I have taken, both when I’m out and about and as part of my photography business. The personal profile will also have updates for whenever my books are published.
I regret to inform all of you that, as of today, I won’t be accepting debit card payments greater than $100 (i.e. non-Interac Flash payments) as a form of in-person payment for my photography business. The reason is that my debit card processor is shutting down, and it will be a while before I’ll be able to start looking for a new debit card processor.
If you are paying me in person for either prints, retainer fees, or services, and the total is greater than $100, you can still pay me via one of the many forms of payment that I accept. Total costs and/or fees that are less than $100 can also be paid via Interac Flash.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause some of you.
Voting is now open for the Viewbug Gorgeous Rivers photo contest. To vote for my entry into it, please click the link below:
Voting will close the morning of April 13, so please vote as early as possible. I thank you for your votes, and for your support.
I now have a WhatsApp business account. So, if you happen to have WhatsApp, and are looking for a photographer, you can contact me on there at 587-887-6249. Or, if you’re just doing a general search for photographers, I will be listed as Ashad Mukadam – Calgary Photographer to ensure that there is no confusion about what that listing is about. This is also useful if you have any inquiries about my services, and if there is something that I can help you with.
It’s been a while since I’ve entered a photo contest on Viewbug, but I have just submitted an entry for one: the Gorgeous Rivers photo contest. Voting will not open until March 31, so there’s a lot of time before the announcement that you can vote for my photo will be made. In the meantime, you can go to the following website to see the photos entered into the contest, including mine:
If you have any suggestions on how to improve it, let me know.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been checking out a few free VOIP/Voice-over-WiFi phone services to see how they were, and especially if they could get me a Calgary-based number, so that I could use it as a work number for my photography business. Well, after trying out some, I finally have chosen a service, and I can let you know what the work number for my photography business is: (587) 887-6249.
In case you’re wondering if you’ll still be able to call me on my cell phone, you certainly can (at the moment, I can only accept calls from Canada and the US), as I haven’t gotten rid of that number, nor do I intend to.
I am now able to accept Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Interac Flash as in-person payments for my photography business. So if you or someone you know is looking for a photographer who can accept these three types of payments, I can help you or those people out. This is also the same for ordering prints directly from me.
Additionally, I checked the settings on my Pixieset store (ashadmukadam.pixieset.com), and it turns out I can now accept Apple Pay on there as well. So, if you’re looking for a print via that store, you’re either on an iPhone or a 2016 or 2017 Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, and have Apple Pay already set up, then you can pay for your order via Apple Pay.
I can now make prints up to 13×19. So, if you or someone you know requires a print that is larger than legal size (8.5×14) and up to 13×19, I will be able to do that. Please note that due to availability of photo paper, I may not be able to make prints for certain sizes.
