I now have a WhatsApp business account. So, if you happen to have WhatsApp, and are looking for a photographer, you can contact me on there at 587-887-6249. Or, if you’re just doing a general search for photographers, I will be listed as Ashad Mukadam – Calgary Photographer to ensure that there is no confusion about what that listing is about. This is also useful if you have any inquiries about my services, and if there is something that I can help you with.
It’s been a while since I’ve entered a photo contest on Viewbug, but I have just submitted an entry for one: the Gorgeous Rivers photo contest. Voting will not open until March 31, so there’s a lot of time before the announcement that you can vote for my photo will be made. In the meantime, you can go to the following website to see the photos entered into the contest, including mine:
If you have any suggestions on how to improve it, let me know.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been checking out a few free VOIP/Voice-over-WiFi phone services to see how they were, and especially if they could get me a Calgary-based number, so that I could use it as a work number for my photography business. Well, after trying out some, I finally have chosen a service, and I can let you know what the work number for my photography business is: (587) 887-6249.
In case you’re wondering if you’ll still be able to call me on my cell phone, you certainly can (at the moment, I can only accept calls from Canada and the US), as I haven’t gotten rid of that number, nor do I intend to.
I am now able to accept Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Interac Flash as in-person payments for my photography business. So if you or someone you know is looking for a photographer who can accept these three types of payments, I can help you or those people out. This is also the same for ordering prints directly from me.
Additionally, I checked the settings on my Pixieset store (ashadmukadam.pixieset.com), and it turns out I can now accept Apple Pay on there as well. So, if you’re looking for a print via that store, you’re either on an iPhone or a 2016 or 2017 Macbook Pro with Touch Bar, and have Apple Pay already set up, then you can pay for your order via Apple Pay.
I can now make prints up to 13×19. So, if you or someone you know requires a print that is larger than legal size (8.5×14) and up to 13×19, I will be able to do that. Please note that due to availability of photo paper, I may not be able to make prints for certain sizes.
I now have the ability to make canvas and fine art prints. So, if you or someone you know would like to have these types of prints made, please get in touch with me. Just a note that I’m only able to make prints in certain sizes because of the canvas and fine art paper only being available in those sizes.
Also, if you or someone you know needs to have any of your prints (including regular ones) framed, let me know, and I can refer you to someone who specializes in that.
I now have a portrait portfolio page up on my photography website. To take a look at it, please click the following link:
I now have the ability to accept bank payments for my photography services. So, if you or someone you know is interested in using my services, and either you or those people are looking to pay via a bank transfer, that is now something I can do.
What are bank payments? When you get an invoice, there may be an option to pay it via a bank payment. What this means is that you can pay the invoice directly from your bank account via the invoice, and the financial systems running in the background move the money from your bank account to the vendor’s bank account. It’s sort of like an Interac e-Transfer, but there is no need to create a secret question before sending the money, and you don’t have to log directly into your online banking account in order to initiate the payment.
Voting is now open for the Viewbug Spectacular Monochromes photo contest. Voting will be open until the morning of June 27, so please vote for my entry as soon as possible. To vote for the photo that I entered, please click on the link below:
I thank you in advance for your votes, and for your support.
