Update on Bank Payments for Photography Business

Just a quick update on if you’re intending on making bank payments (now to be known from this point on as AFTs, or Automated Funds Transfers) for my photography services.  The process has changed a bit, as I’ve changed my processor for AFTs.  Now, you no longer will receive two invoices and emails from me (one that allows you to make credit card and PayPal payments, and the other that allows you to make AFT payments).  Instead, you’ll just get one invoice, and when you click the link in the email or the payment button in the invoice, and you click the red “Pay Now” button in the new window or tab, you’ll see three payment options: Credit Card, PayPal, and Direct Debit.  To make the AFT payment, click Direct Debit, and then you can enter in your details.

Furthermore, when you look on your bank statement, the AFT payment line will show the payee as GoCardless.  Do not worry or panic about this – this is the name of my AFT payment processor, and the payment is still being made to me.
